Magic Beans

I got a Jack Spriggins Magic Bean in my seed pack.Is this the same bean as in Jack and the bean stalk?How do I keep it on my half acre?

Kathy insisted I plant one too. It's growing straight up at the moment with not many leaves yet. No idea what the hell it is by the picture on the label but one thing for sure...that gold laying egg goose is ours! :P
